ALL ABOUT ME

Having had a passion for walking for most of my life its surprising how sometimes other things take over and that desire/need finds itself tucked away in a small box waiting for the day when it can escape.  Thankfully I found that escape sooner rather than later.

My longing to be in amongst the mountains is only rivaled by my need for air to breathe each day and as I look through the list of peaks scheduled for this year I get practically giddy with excitement at the thought of being there, no matter what the conditions, and recording each moment here so that I can dip back and remember the sights, emotions and feelings of that day.  Which brings me to my next passion.

I'm a keen photographer and whilst I may not have the most professional of equipment or understand most of the technical jargon, I do think that I can take a pretty decent picture and having the ability to record visually each and every challenge is an incredible bonus.

So that's that then, I may add to this as the weeks/months go by but for now, lets go climb a mountain.....
